Therapy in Eugene, Oregon — Meeting What Is Present

Portrait of Evan Kaufman, Male Therapist and Counselor located in Eugene & Springfield Oregon

Looking into the night sky, one feels the vastness and mystery of being alive. Experiences like these slow us down, inviting us to notice the depth, uncertainty, and possibility beneath our feet. Therapy can be like this — a space to pause, look inward, and meet what is present in your life.

My work helps clients understand themselves from the inside out, exploring the thoughts, emotions, and habits shaping their experience. Therapy becomes a place to see how your life has been arranged, and to discover what becomes possible when you make contact with it.

For some, what brings them to therapy is clear — persistent anxiety, a relationship that's unraveling, a loss you're still carrying. For others it's harder to name: a feeling of misalignment, a restlessness that won't resolve, or a gap between the present and what might be possible.

Both paths deserve attention. And as we sit with them, they tend to open into the patterns, questions, and tensions that have been shaping your life all along.
